Grievance Procedue

Employee grievances can often be challenging due to the disharmony caused between an aggrieved employee and their manager. It is always good to ensure the matter is handled informally first to try and resolve the problem. However when this is not the solution a written grievance will have to be dealt with. Managing a formal grievance can sometimes be quite tricky depending on the subject matter. It is important to follow the ACAS Code of Conduct and ensure the employee feels they have been treated fairly. This is particularly important where the grievance is not upheld. You may be struggling with knowing how to proceed so that is where we can help.

We have extensive experience of managing grievance situations and will ensure you are compliant with the law and follow a fair procedure. We will coach you through the process and be with you every step of the way should you need close support.

We can be the HR representative at a grievance hearing or grievance appeal to take notes and ensure the paperwork is in order or alternatively take control and undertake a grievance investigation on your behalf, chair a hearing or appeal and ensure the essential paper trail is in place.

Whether you have just received a grievance or are part way through a process but struggling to manage the situation we can assist.
